Mochi (rice cake) cheese
Yesterday, I cooked cheese by using MOCHI (Japanese rice cake).

I am vegetarian so I don't eat cheese usually.

But David really likes the taste of cheese so I made for him not use cheese but vege-cheese.


It was very easy to make by using MOCHI (Japanese rice cake), paste of baked onion & garlic source.

I chopped an organic onicon and garlic and baked them well until all onion becam soft and sweet.

And I added a little organic oil , white miso(for sweetness) and a little white vinegar(for a little sour taste) together,


I used a blender to mix the onion source well and I chopped a MOCHI (my MOM made for us!) and beked them well until the Mochi melt to soft cream.

And I added a little organic soy source and it became Mochi cheese!


Yesterday it was raining and it was very chilly.

So I put the Mochi cheese on the ginger rice with lots of vegetables and I baked them in the oven.

It became a "GLATAN" with Mohci cheese and it was very delicious.


After David ate it the half of Gratan, I added an organic chill pepper to change the taste.

Hot spice became a different taste of Gratan and it was nice taste, too.


To use Mochi for cheese taste was easy and very healthy...

And David's smile showed me his enjoyable impression and I was very happy to look at it.


To cook vegetarian meals is very fun for me to use my intuition & inspiration for cooking every time.

I check some recipes sometimes but I always arrange it by my sense.


And it was like a experimental cooking and it was very pleasure for me at anytime, what I will cook for him today??

After I moved to Seattle, I became to love cooking more than before.

To share with same meal together can make me enjoy cooking and it became my part of life now.^^
