Mom's sweet potato
My Mom has a lilttle field to grow up some vegetalbes & fruits by herself.

And now many organic sweet potatoes Mom picked up for me.

They are very very sweet and I eat them every day now.


Just to add a littlle salt, I baked sweet potatoes simply.

Simple taste of them can give me natural sweetness and I really like her taste itself.


Her sweet potatoes are very very sweet and I think they contain Mom's love inside, I can feel.

Sometimes I use some sweet potatoes for Macrobiotic dessert.


I like to cook cookies & soft cake to use the sweetness of sweet potatoes.

I add organic brown rice powder or buckwheat for them at first.

And then I add a pinch of salt & a little baking powder without aluminium with powder.


Sometimes I use organic coconut powder or flake and soy bean's powder (Kinako) with them.

My recipe is always flexible and my feeling decide the ingredients naturally.

So every time, my ingredients are different from others and it is the only 1 time for my original taste.


Instead of butter, I use olive oil & white sesami paste for Macrobiotics sweets as oily texture.

I soak some dried raisons in a little water and I add all of them to the mixture.


To use some nuts & cinamon poweder can be suitable for this sweet potato.

And then just I bake them in oven.


It is very very esay and simple way of cooking for Macrobiotic sweet.

My friends asked me how to cook my sweet after I gave them my sweets sometimes.

But only what I can tell them about my recipe is the ingredients but I can not explain the amount of them in detail later.


I really love to cook Macrobiotics sweet because it is so easy to make.

And organic ingredients are tastey itself so just to mix them together can make Macrobiotics become nice taste acutally.


My Mom's sweet potatoes are really tastey and I love them.

Only this season, I can enjoy having the taste now so I cherish this season more.

With Mom's love, her sweet potatoes became much more sweet, for sure!
