Vegetarian ball
David likes to eat organic sweet potatoes.

And we can buy organic sweet potatoes 3.99$ for 3lb (about 1.5kg) in winter season.


I sliced organic sweet potatoes and baked them in the oven for a while and natural sweetness of them pull out of inside naturally.

And we love to eat natural sweetness without seasoning but sometimes I make to arrange organic sweet potatoes.


I boiled organic quinoa and chia seed in a pan with some water and I mixed them with organic sweet potatoes after I steamed and mushed.

I want to add some nice crispy texture to this sweet potato mixtures,so sometimes I add some chopped onion & carrot or corn and green beans in it.


And I put some seasoning the mixture with a little sea salt, white sesame seeds, white sesame paste(tahini), ginger powder and cinnamon powder.

After I put on some seasoning, I added a little arrowroot powder and flaxseed powder to combine them into some small balls.


I don't want to cook anything with oil so I bake the sweet potato ball in a oven for a while.

If I putt this sweet potato balls into a oil and fry them, it will be like a croquette but I want to cook it more healthy way.


And I make some my original source for this sweet potato balls and usually David loves to eat them.

My source is sometimes based on soy source but sometimes based on mustard, so I can make man kinds of arrangement for David.


Anyway this sweet potato balls can make David be happy whenever he eats it and I am happy to watch his happy smile.

Also this sweet potato doesn't need to add so much seasoning because it has natural sweetness inside strongly, so I just want to cook it as simple as possible.


Day by day, spring is coming to our life and the temperature became warmer and warmer.

So this sweet potato season will be over soon but I want to enjoy cooking it for a while to make David enjoy eating them.


Sweet potato is the best season for winter season because they have personality to make our body warm up.

In Japan, I like to eat sweet potato which is baked in a oven with a little salt because this simply way of cooking is the best to enjoy the sweetness naturally.^^
